Esther: Marketing Director
The move to New Jersey has been an adventure for Esther but she is embracing her regular visits to the beach and the weather that allows her to spend more time outside. Now Esther is a permanent fixture here at AllCare Foot and Ankle and enjoys her new responsibilities. In Esther's free time she enjoys walking or running with Dr. Cheney or being lazy on her bed with a good treat to enjoy.
Since the age of 15, Freda has worked in many different fields, retail and food services being only a couple. After graduating with a BA in marketing and a minor in Economics from Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, she surprisingly found employment in that very field. She worked as an account manager for various businesses evaluating and strategizing marketing/advertising programs based on business budgets.
While in the midst of a career that was booming, she met the love of her life, got married and had 3 beautiful girls. Being a mother is the most rewarding feeling in the world. She couldn’t imagine her life without her girls. Family is the most important thing to her and they will always be her number one. On her free time, she enjoys being with her family and going on family outings which include the park, basketball, movies, and with 3 girls, of course, the mall!
Eventually, she became uninterested in her career and where it was leading. It started to become a battle with business owners instead of a partnership. So, after much thought and consideration, she made a big decision to come out of her comfort zone and try a career choice that she knew nothing about but that had peaked her interest. She secured her first position as a dental assistant which allowed her to get her foot in the door in a field she was excited about. She received much needed training and experience working closely with the dentist and after a few short months, she began running the office. Eventually, she left that position and interviewed with Dr. Cheney. Luckily, her on-the-job training proved to be the best overall education she could have. She now works with one of the best podiatrists in New Jersey and enjoys being a part of such a wonderful team.
